It simply add additional attributes to the products. For handling auction setttings in the magento backend. Magento Auctions are only available for customers who have registered with the webshop, and therefore every Auction bid is registered correctly, and linked to that user.

Upon winning an auction the user is notified, and provided with a link to put the product in the cart. Other users are then notified that they did not win the auction.

The default value that bids are supposed to increase by can be controlled from the MAgento Backend. Magento ‘Transactional Emails can also be turned on/off this way.
